How to use this resource
- Download and open the HTML worksheet in a browser. Click a field to type; the file does not send your work to ZuffSuite.
- Agree on a small set of specific behaviors, then assign owners and due dates to deliverables.
- Use the meeting checklist to record decisions, blockers, and the next check-in.
- Save a completed copy to keep your work, or print the worksheet and save it as a PDF.
Start with a shared agreement
Choose communication and meeting expectations the whole group can actually keep. Include what happens when someone expects to miss a deadline, how the group will raise a concern, and when an instructor should be asked for guidance. Adapt the worksheet to the assignment and course rules.
Make responsibilities observable
For each work package, name one owner, the expected output, a due date, a reviewer, and a backup or handoff plan. This kit complements the existing ZuffSuite group presentation guide and planning kit: it helps a team agree on how it will work together, while the guide focuses on turning a topic into a presentation.
Check in before the final deadline
Use meeting checklists and peer feedback prompts while there is still time to adjust responsibilities. Describe the work and the impact of a missed commitment without making claims about a person's character. Follow the instructor's process for grading or unresolved conflict.
Worked example
A practical example
A fictional team preparing a campus-garden proposal agrees to post a short update after each work session and to raise a likely delay at least one day before a checkpoint. One member owns the evidence summary; another peer reviews citations before the slides are assembled. The group writes its own rules and confirms them with the instructor if required.
Common questions
Is this the same as the presentation planning kit?
No. This kit focuses on team agreements, responsibilities, communication, meeting follow-through, and peer feedback. The existing presentation kit includes a role sheet, a 14-day timeline, a slide outline, and a presentation checklist.
Can this replace a course or instructor contract?
No. Use the worksheet as a discussion aid and follow your course instructions, accessibility needs, and instructor-approved processes.
